A security interview, or security vetting interview, is a central part of assessing a person’s suitability for roles or assignments where high trust is critical. The aim is to ensure the person selected has the stability, reliability and suitability required for the role.
We offer security interviews conducted by trained and experienced security specialists with solid backgrounds in investigation, police work or security training.
Interviews are carried out with full respect for the individual’s integrity – while also providing the employer with a professional basis for decision-making.
How we work
Preparation and planning: The interview begins with us receiving and reviewing information about the security classification and the requirements of the role. We prepare questions and structure based on the nature of the assignment.
Conducting the security interview: The conversation is held by security specialists using a structured method and covers areas such as life background, finances, loyalty, social environment and any potential security risks – all based on the Armed Forces' regulations for security-classified roles.
Assessment and documentation: After the conversation a summary of assessments is compiled based on the information that emerged. The documentation is handled confidentially and stored securely in accordance with applicable law and internal procedures.
Reporting and follow-up: Where needed, additional checks, follow-ups or personal investigations are carried out based on the client’s needs – to ensure continued trustworthiness of persons in security-classified roles within government agencies or critical functions.
